点评：Tegelberg is a popular mountain near Fussen and a good place for visitors to the region to spend time in nature. There are hiking trails leading up the 1880 metre high mountain as well as a cable car (Tegelbergbahn) providing quick and scenic access to the peak area.
From the top you can enjoy gorgeous panoramic views of the surrounding mountain range, lakes in the distance, medieval town of Fussen as well as the famous Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles.
We very much enjoyed one of the trails back down to the Tegelbergbahn lower station. It took around 90 minutes to complete walking leisurely. You will see paragliders taking off from the top. You can enjoy a light bite or drink at the cafe at the upper station as well as another down below near the ski slope. The trails are well maintained, family and pet-friendly for those with dogs. Views are really nice throughout. It is a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and mountain environs near Fussen.
