The Platinum Concorde Tour - a truly unmissable experience!

点评：What an amazing and fabulous day we had at the Runway Visitor Park at Manchester Airport!
I booked the “Platinum Concorde Tour” as a Christmas present for my Engineer husband, who loves the history of airplanes and technical side of the aircraft’s - so glad I did! He is on cloud nine having visited today.
We both had the most enjoyable, amazing and fascinating tour, led by “Commander” Gareth Bond, who’s extensive technical, historical and factual knowledge about Concorde was extremely impressive and was delivered with passionate enthusiasm, humour and the telling of personal stories. Not forgetting Neil Bhoule, who manned the Cockpit, allowing us in, in groups of four, explaining all of its workings in an interesting and easy to understand manner and accommodating photo taking in the Captain’s seat for those keen to have the memory captured. We sat in the seats onboard, we stood under the Concorde G-BOAC fuselage and wings whilst having the many features explained and saw the nose drop and rise twice over. A glass of champagne (or orange juice) was served and we even had certificates to go home with. Thank you so very much, Gareth and Neil!
Thanks also to Louise on Reception, who accommodated my change of booking (twice) in the most pleasant and helpful manner.
Having said all that, Concorde, herself, is undoubtedly the star of the show! A wonderful experience and day out, recommended without a doubt.
