A great time well spent at Taiping Zoo !!!
Zoo Taiping & Night Safari的点评
点评：It took us only 6 mins drive from our Hotel we stayed to Taiping Zoo. Before the Zoo entrance , under the Canopy are food and souvenirs booth on both sides. The Candy & Mascot Booths attracted many kids. There is a stage with chairs for some performances .
We bought the tickets, enter into the Zoo Compound. a long tailed Macaque was climbing & crawling up at the Canopy truss. A Zoo Map is placed at the entrance for Visitors’ guide .
We took the train ride, it has a driver who guided us in local Bahasa language on the animal species as we ride along the Zoo track. It would be great if a translator is around to assist some foreigners who only understand English.
Like the saying goes, Animals are always happiest in the wild, but this Zoo has well maintained spaces where we see all mammals have shade and space to bathe in the dust & water, Bornean Orangutan, lions etc have sizeable enclosure to themselves , fishes swimming in open water and crocodile gazing on wide open grassland!! Plenty of trees for gibbons swinging and singing !!!
After the 30 mins train ride, although the weather is hot, we continue our walks by foot around the Zoo as we did not get to see some of the animals. Probably its their siesta time, some are having their afternoon nap !!
We did not have time to come for the Night Safari, nevertheless it was a great time spent in the day at Taiping Zoo.

经过 30 分钟的火车车程后，虽然天气很热，但我们继续在动物园里散步，因为我们没有看到一些动物。可能是它们的午睡时间，有些正在午睡！！
我们没有时间去夜间野生动物园，不过在太平动物园度过了美好的一天。
