A Fabulous Experience and a Grand Day Out

点评：Oh my goodness what an amazing place. We love going to Bradford but have never been here before. We were out on our bikes and were at a bit of a loose end so decided to call in here. We were completely taken by surprise. What an amazing place. Back to back houses re-built from their original locations telling the story of Bradford through the years. A mill set up which really brought things to life, telling stories of the mill workers and just the size of the machines. It was easy to imagine the dreadful lives of the mill workers. There is also a printing area showing the old printing presses, really brought home how computerisation changed the whole industry. There is a display of vintage vehicles and machines. Lots of children to do and experience and lots of hands on things. We visited the Mill Managers house and were met by the lovely Dave, beautifully dressed in period clothing who had a lot of very interesting stories to tell. He also recommended going to Bolling Hall, which we did the following day. There is a shop area where you can buy hot and cold drinks. The shop had some interesting bits as pieces as well as the 'usual' sweets and the like. Highly recommend this place. We spent about three hours there but still didnt manage to see everything.
