点评：We really enjoy coming to this gallery whenever we make a trip to the Lake District! The pieces are beautiful, and beautifully displayed. There is a wide range of media for sale --- pottery, fused glass, wood, leather, jewelry, and of course photos and paintings/prints. Our favorites are the glass paint on slate and the work of a fiber artist who uses embroidery to create exquisite artwork.
We have been there when artists are on-site creating new pieces or able to chat a bit about their work. This is a huge plus, in my book.
The cafe is fantastic, too, all vegetarian with healthy dose of vegan offerings.
The biggest plus, though, are the owners who take the time to discuss the work, the gallery itself, and who gets to know their customers.
If you are looking for a special gift for someone (or just for yourself!), you will not be disappointed in this gem of a gallery.
