Founders Park的点评
点评：Husband and I decided to visit Founders Park on September 3 2024. The place that we were staying at ( Creekside ) informed us that we could get in free because we were staying in Islamorada, all we had to do was show our parking pass as proof of stay. In the front is the Islamorada welcome center. So we decided to stop in and enjoy some cold drinks and ice cream. The workers in there were very pleasant and helpful. After that we drove back to the entrance for the beach. This is where it all went downhill .
We showed the gate attendant our parking pass and she looked at us in a suspicious manner… so we told her we were staying on island and would like to see the beach. Her response to us was “ well the parking permit is not enough, do you have an email from them?” We replied that no we didn’t we were on vacation and don’t have email on our phones. She kept on going and going. I felt like we weren’t welcome there AT ALL! Husband and I looked at each other and said forget it let’s go. Then she says “ well I’ll let you in this one time” . We have been coming to Islamorada for YEARS. Have never been treated so awful. I don’t recall her name, but she is not the right person for that job. Especially in same spot the welcome center is. Had that been our first trip to Islamorada I would never return. And we will not ever return to that park free or not.

Had that been our first trip to Islamorada I would never return. And we will not ever return to that park free or not.
