Best Views of Historic Cologne and Cathedral
科隆三角大楼的点评
点评：Whenever I can visit a viewing platform in a city, I generally am in, especially when it is only 5 Euros. I also like to climb viewing platforms like the Cathedral tower, but here I took the elevator. We had one day in Cologne on our river cruise so I was determined to see and do as much as I could. I walked from riverfront across the German bridge to the Triangle did my visit and walked back across the Hohenzoller Bridge to the riverfront in 45 minutes, so you can work a visit into your day. Plus, you will want to walk the Hohenzoller Bridge, and the triangle is at the eastern landing of the bridge.
I had bought a timed ticket online and arrived at the Triangle just before 11:15 and my first picture is time stamped 11:18 so no crowds to worry about. At the top you get great views of the city from 360 degrees. However, the best views are to the west over the historic city center, so this is one reason I wanted to visit in the morning for better sun angle. I do hear that sunset is a great time but that would not work for our river cruise. The views and pictures were great, and I was back down in 15 minutes to cross the Hohenzoller Bridge. If you love views from above, this is the best place, better than the Cathedral because you have a view of the Cathedral. I think it is a great attraction for your visit.
