Longleat的点评
点评：We love Longleat and have visited many times, so we were excited to visit for the Festival of Lights this December.
The park and staff were great as ever and the lanterns/lights were amazing; the theme this year is Wallace & Gromit and friends. My family and I loved the lanterns, characters and Christmas pop up shops.
However, as with many events and attractions these days, the experience was utterly spoilt by the vast crowds of obnoxious people walking and driving around the site; we have visited at both quiet and busy times but out trip on Saturday 6th Dec was something else.
To say it was busy, would be an understatement, we basically queued and shuffled around the entire sit for 7hrs straight; the safari park was basically a traffic jam, with people causing chaos by barging in and blocking the roads.
Hats off to the staff, they worked themselves to a standstill just trying to control crowds.
I get this is a business but why do all attractions now, allow huge numbers of ticket sales?? For the amount we paid as a family of 4, should we at least be able to see the animals and lights, without being pushed and jostled around??
