Longleat的点评
点评：We had a really enjoyable day at Longleat and felt it was well worth the ticket price. We spent a good few hours here and there was plenty to see and do for both children and adults.
The safari drive was great fun, although some inconsiderate drivers made it a little frustrating at times. It took us a while to get around, and I can imagine it takes even longer during peak times. It was lovely to see the animals, although many of them were resting in the shade because of the heat, which is completely understandable.
Outside of the safari, there are plenty more animals to see and lots to explore. The house was particularly interesting, and all of the staff we came across were friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The only slight disappointment was that the only way to see the sea lions, gorillas and hippos is by taking the boat trip. We visited during a quieter part of the day and still had around a one-hour wait, while earlier the queue looked to be well over an hour and a half. That said, the boat trip was definitely worth doing.
There are also plenty of places to eat throughout the park, so finding food wasn’t an issue.
One tip for anyone visiting: download the Longleat app before you arrive, as it’s really useful for the map. The Wi-Fi and mobile signal aren’t great, so having it downloaded beforehand makes getting around much easier.
Overall, we’d definitely recommend a visit. It’s a full day out with lots to offer, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.
