Awesome experience of the battle, plus a beautiful location with woodland walks

点评：Absolutely awesome! The traditional parts of the museum are really good in themselves, with some very nice uses of technology to tell the story. And then in the basement there's a massive immersive experience depicting the battle. Some may find it a bit overwhelming, especially the shooting and screams, but it is very affective. It begins in a simulated glider takeoff, flight and landing. There is a cafe on the inside, this was closed on the warm day we were there, and the very nice outdoor cafe was open, so we had drinks and cakes. Toilets in doors were clean and well maintained.
The manor is situated in a beautiful park, with woodland, deer, and historic features. There is a botanic garden which wasn't open on the day we were there, as there was a wedding. So make sure you go for a good long walk too, and see some of the sites from the battle as well as older history and nature.
We took the bus/tram from Arnhem railway station, which goes regularly. Pay using your debit card by swiping when you get on and then when you get off. The driver spoke good English (as do most people in this area) and helped us understand.
Arnhem and this whole area is really nice. All the people very friendly and helpful.
