disappointing - we felt unwanted

点评：Having visited here many times before I was so disappointed when we visited last week with our 2 year old grandson. We arrived after lunch and paid the entrance fee and was disappointed that the tractor rides were no longer running. We had missed all the feeding times too. The animals were lovely of course but wandering around we saw some geese/ducks on a pond that looked so unloved and forgotten.
Onto the mini tractor area which would've been perfect except that the electric tractors weren't charged..resulting in tears from a toddler. Never mind we can on to find somewhere to get an ice lolly right? no..only the main cafe was open ( a fair walk away with a little one) no kiosks were open. Oh dear come on, we'll go to the play park. Ah look the swings are for your size which was good but all the other pieces of equipment were too big. The roundabout was almost seized into position - clearly hasn't had a good oil in a long time. Result a very disappointed child and an angry nanny.
Ok, let's leave the animals and go for something to eat. It was now 3pm. We went to order paninis and were told the kitchens were now closed (advertised closing time is 4pm) All they could offer were cold sandwiches/cakes etc.
It really felt as though we weren't wanted. We won't be returning.

好吧，我们别管这些动物了，去吃点东西吧。现在已经下午3点了。我们去点帕尼尼，却被告知厨房已经关门了（官方说是下午4点关门）。他们能提供的只有冷三明治/蛋糕之类的。
感觉我们好像不受欢迎。我们不会再来了。
