Excellent day for all ages at tge Steam Railway and Pete Waterman model railway

点评：Had an amazing day at Rheidol Steam Railway.
Started with a stop off in the cafe, followed by a visit to the engine shed to view Pete Watermans' incredible minature railway.
You can even get to control some of the dozens of trains on the track.
We even squeezed in time to view the rest of the engine shed with old steam locks.
Next came the chance to driven the Wren steam loco for an additional £10. A great experience.
Then came the Steam train ride up the valley.
A lovely 1 hr ride up the valley with amazing views a d a 600ft climb.
Then after a 45 minute break ,it was another stunning trip back down the valley.
If you dont want to do the quick turn around then you can explore and get a later train back.
Even got to meet Pete Waterman, who is a wonderful, approachable and knowledgeable gentleman to speak to.
Thank you to all the staff who were so friendly and helpful.
