Awful. Advertised as 2 PawPrint rated, but NOT dog friendly.

点评：We visited the property on Monday December 23rd with our two small dogs. We’d seen on the Trerice Facebook page that dogs were allowed, and there was a choir performing at 2pm. On arrival we were told we could take dogs into the Hayloft to eat food purchased in the restaurant, and other dog friendly routes were signposted. It was a cold day with drizzling rain. Getting a tray of food from the cafe to the Hayloft involved leaving the cafe, walking along a path outside around the building and walking up a ramp into the Hayloft. Unfortunately when we got inside there were only three tables in total, all of which were covered in toys and other childrens’ activities. Eating our lunch there was not a pleasant experience as we were constantly interrupted by children coming to our table to pick up materials. The Hayloft is a large space, and could easily have accommodated both diners with dogs (who have no choice but to sit there or get wet and cold outside) and childrens’ activites if a little thought had gone into laying the space out better. We felt Trerice doesn’t deserve its 2 Pawprint rating as our distinct impression was that dogs were not welcome and no provision had been made for us or them. We’re National Trust members, visit properties frequently and this was the worst experience we’ve ever had at one of your properties. We won’t be back.
