点评：Warning - Don't go without someone aged from one to six or seven years old. You'll have a far better time if you do.
Kent Life advertised their Ice Cream Festival, which sounds great doesn't it? "Discover the Ice Cream Festival at Kent Life, a must-visit event in Maidstone this August bank holiday. Family fun, delicious treats, and more!"
Personally I was greatly disappointed because this even wasn't a Festival by any stretch of the imagination. All it consisted of was the standard 21 varieties of Kelly's commercial Ice Cream which is often available at multiple events around the country. Nothing special at all. The advertising was somewhat over exaggerated.
The rest of the park was, as I have said, geared for one to seven year olds and they had a wonderful time.
They have lots of animals - sheep, pigs, goats, donkeys, chickens, guinea pigs that can be petted. (There are hand washing facilities dotted around the complex.) They also have owls and meercats which are just for show. The owls give a display twice a day, which is well worth seeing, even if the display is quite short.
If your legs get tired, there are tractor/trailer rides around the farm.
The buildings are also interesting as they are dressed in original period sets.
There are several wild gardens to wander around, though you can't pick the fruit!
My wife and I spent two and a half hours wandering around.
