Great meeting the animals but it’s all a bit tired

点评：The staff were tremendously friendly and helpful everywhere we met them. They’ve certainly got a happy team in place, which always gets a visit off to a good start.
The animals all look to be in good condition, sheep and alpacas recently shorn, the pigs were having classic pig fun wallowing in mud in the heat, the sheep and goats very energetic and enthusiastic for a handful of food, which our little one delighted in feeding them. There’s handwashing stations everywhere and they were all working and well stocked.
There’s handwashing stations park itself was looking especially green and verdant, so much so it looked a little overdue for a trim back.
The only downside of the visit is that literally everything needs some love and attention and maybe more importantly, some investment just to bring it back to a good state . The playground hasn’t changed, by the look of it, in 10 years and many parts seemed missing at a glance. The toys in the sandbox are faded, brittle or broken, the rope-dragon swing thing is out of action, although the frame is still up, windows missing on the tunnels, the dino-riding rabbit music seems sun bleached, toilets are tired, road surfaces are broken, animal cages are cobwebbed on the outside, wooden furniture needs stripping and re coating, there’s a large venue/circus tent that looks really tired and dirty and a bit rickety in places.
I’m not saying farms aren’t naturally dirty smelly places, just things that ought to be in a better state aren’t. We love this place and will be back.

我不是说农场天生就脏兮兮、臭烘烘的，只是有些地方本来应该好好保养一下，结果却没有保养好。我们喜欢这个地方，一定会再来的。
