Birdland & the Penguins

点评：We hadn't been to Birdland for many years and were pleasantly surprised at how it had changed for the better. The area was very clean and tidy with a new addition of The Nest Tea Room with plenty of seats outside, some by the river Windrush where you can watch some of the wild birds that visit.
The toilets were clean and tidy.
It was my wife's Birthday and I had arranged for her to feed the Penguins as she, like most visitors, is very fond of them. All the staff we met were very friendly and the keeper who looked after my wife's experience was exceptional and you could see that he loved his job. While my wife fed the penguins the keeper gave a 30 minute talk to the visitors about the penguins which was very informative and humerous.
We had an excellent afternoon seeing some 130 species of birds set in a lovely part of the country and giving excellent value for money.
