A beautiful wildlife park!

点评：Birdland Park and Gardens, often referred to as Birdland, is undoubtedly one of the most exciting attractions in Bourton-on-the-Water. This gorgeous wildlife park contains a total of over 500 birds from 130 different species, including cassowary, Waldrapp iris, spot flamingos, and village weavers. One of the best parts of the park is the penguin section where you can see the only King penguins in the UK, as well as a group of Humboldt penguins. There's also a large variety of parrots and many other interesting birds such as marabou storks and golden conures.
Entry to Birdland is not exactly cheap as a single adult ticket will set you back £14.95 at the gate and while there is a £1 discount if you buy your ticket online, there's a £1.50 fee per transaction. Nevertheless, I think it's definitely visiting this site, especially as it also has a beautiful nature reserve that's home to a lot of indigenous birds, as well as life-sized dinosaur models in the Jurassic Area, which further enhance the visitor experience.
