Just a great way to while away some time whilst in Dartmouth

点评：My wife and I, both of us senior citizens, visited the museum after travelling from Paignton on the steam train to Kingswear, and then crossing the River Dart on the ferry. To be truthful we had nothing planned when we arrived in Dartmouth, and were pretty much wandering around aimlessly when we noticed the sign for the museum – it’s easy to miss this museum as it’s a small doorway under a covered walkway, but the signage is quite good and that’s what drew us to it. Anyway, we were met by a lovely gentleman that gave us a great briefing on the best way to go around the exhibits, and also a little on what we could expect to see, which was a great introduction. The museum itself is quite small, but crammed full of interesting artifacts. We especially enjoyed the Mayflower exhibition, and the model of the ship was truly amazing. We really enjoyed this diversion from the hustle and bustle of the town, and would recommend a visit to it.
