点评：I visited Belvoir Castle on Monday and had such a fantastic day. £3 all day parking and free entry to the castle and gardens with my Historic Houses Association membership. All the staff were very welcoming and a real
asset to Belvoir Castle, particularly on the front door into the guard room and in the gift shop. A special thank you to the amazing tour guide Cheryll, who enthusiastically shared her encyclopaedic knowledge of the castle during the tours, which I highly recommend. They are running a ‘What the butler saw’ speciality tour on Mondays and Fridays at the moment, it was a fascinating insight into the life of the servants and we got to see some of the areas not usually open to the public. The tours cost extra but are absolutely worth doing. I ran out of time to visit all of the beautiful gardens which will be a good excuse to return and to try another one of the tours too.
