Great little museum!
Dorset Museum & Art Gallery的点评
点评：I visited with my husband, starting with a spot of lunch in the cafe. Service was great, food tasty and reasonably priced.
The museum itself was architecturally interesting, airy, interactive and a great mix of local history from pre-Jurassic era and the development of habitation, Roman occupation, great Victorians and up to recent past, with exhibits from rocks and dinosaurs to Thomas Hardy and Jane Austen literature, costume and sculpture - with much else in between!
The Frink sculptures were stunning.
Our visit behind the scenes to the Stores was a real highlight.
We found the shop to have a nice selection of tasteful and tasty gifts for different ages!
The museum and shop staff and volunteers were approachable and helpful.
Well done and thank you all for a lovely afternoon.
