Polesden Lacey的点评
点评：Not one of my favourite N.T. locations but certainly not the worst either.
The best thing about Polesden is the ease with which you can get around even in a wheelchair and it is possible with some forward planning to get a mobility scooter for this purpose.
Upon arriving you will find a good size car park where there are also toilets and a perfectly acceptable tearoom which welcomes dogs.
Just inside the property is another cafe which I think is one of the best N.T. refreshment centres, serving a good range of drinks and food from light snacks to full lunches, etc.
The gift shop is your usual N.T. affair selling all the usual things you would expect to find.
The grounds are extensive and well laid out and maintained although there isn't a lot to see at this time of year. We have been in high summer, however when they are at their best with lots of flowering plants and shrubs.
The house itself is well worth a visit with very many interesting features.
As usual with National Trust properties, the staff are very enthusiastic and friendly and ready to assist wherever they can.
All in all Polesden is well worth a visit.
