Don't let crowds put you off - a fabulous Skye view awaits
The Old Man of Storr的点评
点评：Superbly built path which took us (late 60s though regular hikers) about 45 mins to reach the final highest viewpoint, giving a truly wow view over the pinnacles, Storr lochs and the sea.This high knoll has quite an eroded scree path to reach but nothing difficult at all.Bit slithery on way down for a few metres.
It’s also possible to explore other high knolls with more scrambling but these were not for us!
Parking was very busy at 9.30am on a Friday morning but still plenty spaces.Toilets were in good condition and there’s a very nice shop now too.
The only downside is this walk is MOBBED, hundreds of people of all ages ploughing up the slopes which does detract from the wildness of the area.Most were polite and considerate.
But that view - very much worth the crowds, many times over.
