Great place for kids to experience history
Stafford Castle的点评
点评：Popped there to check out the parking and see what it's like before attending an event at the weekend. We were greeted by such a friendly member of staff who was incredibly welcoming to my two kids who have additional needs, she was also really knowledgeable and explained history in a way my understanding 6s could understand.
In the visitor centre there's period dressing up things and helmets/props that can be picked up and used rather than just looked at through glass which the kids absolutely loved and engaged with straight away.
We were loaned a wildlife hunting bag which had absolutely everything we needed to look for all kinds of things on our walk through the woods up to the "castle" , the castle itself is just what's left of a rebuilt keep, safe enough for my two to run around without me being concerned and not so big I worried I'd loose sight of them.
We alo had a little picnic on the grass outside the castle and spent some time having fun rolling down the hills. An absolutely brilliant place!
