Another great day with kids
Scolton Manor的点评
点评：Second holiday year we (2 adults and 4 children ages 7 months to 8) have been here on holiday and next year we plan to visit twice as once isn’t enough time to go to the Manor House, eat at lovely cafe and go round swings and walks.
The swings were nice although some items like a swing, a springy bouncer and a climbing frame were broken and taped off. I really hope they will be fixed soon as a shame if play area deteriorates.
The cafe was lovely and appreciated the signs that said dogs needed to be kept within booths and not left to roam as I have a child that is terrified of dogs due to a park incident. The food was reasonably priced and tasted great. Staff lovely and friendly too.
The man and lady at the Manor House were great and very enthusiastic about the house. They gave us three trail sheets for the kids to follow and answer questions on. The kids loved them and made them really involved in the rooms and exhibits again. The craft room is a really MASSIVE jewel for the visit and same as last year: loads of things to
Make and do. Everything available, checked and ready. Not one thing has run out or the bits weren’t there!! We had to prise the kids away as getting late!!!
There is also an old steam train (not running) that kids can climb on which was good
I believe there are wooden play houses and pirate ship on the walks but we ran out of time so did not get time to look at these. Next year!!!

庄园里的那对男女主人人很好，对庄园也充满热情。他们给了我们三份游览指南，让孩子们可以边走边回答上面的问题。孩子们非常喜欢这些活动，它们又让孩子们全身心地投入到各个展厅和展览中。手工坊绝对是此次参观的一大亮点——和去年一样，有大量可以制作和体验的项目。所有材料都准备齐全且经过检查，没有任何一样东西缺失或短缺！！！时间不早了，我们不得不把孩子们从那里拽走！！那里还有一辆老式蒸汽火车（已不再运行），孩子们可以爬上去玩耍，这挺不错的。
我觉得沿着步道还有木制游戏屋和海盗船之类的设施，但我们时间不够，没来得及去看看。明年一定去！！
