Inveraray Castle & Gardens的点评
点评：My partner and I visited recently while on a trip to Inveraray. We liked the fact we could book a date and time to arrive and although we visited in the quieter months can appreciate this feature being useful for the summer. Upon entering and collecting our tickets the man let us know a tour was starting in about 20 minutes if we wanted to join. We took him up on his offer of a lovely walk round the formal gardens before heading in for the tour. Our tour guide Antionio was lovely and knowledgeable and brought the place to life for us, pointing out little details such as the brooch in one portrait and the recycled carriage, that we might have otherwise missed. We were lucky there were only 4 of us on the tour and I feel it moved at a pace we were all comfortable with- not too fast you couldn’t keep up but also felt we weren’t waiting around. The castle is full of interesting artefacts and has some amazing history attached to it, well worth a visit if in the area! We didn’t take full advantage of the woodland walks but appreciated the fact that there were two clear routes for different abilities as well as the option to roam at your leisure. We will definitely visit again when in the area to further explore the outside spaces.
