Inveraray Castle & Gardens的点评
点评：A very picturesque Scottish castle - home to the Campbell's and Duke of Argyll.
Parking here is via the JustPark app, and the options are for 4 or 8 hours. We opted for 4 which cost about £4. It's easily walked to from the town, if parking there.
The castle itself is half open to the public, with beautiful rooms filled with artifacts and history documenting it's past and the family. Half the castle is private with the family still residing.
Staff ask for backpacks not to be worn, so it's easier to not take one in, if possible.
Photos are permitted.
The gardens are accessible - inclusive with general admission (or there is an option for a garden only ticket) and there is a short woodland walk.
A gift shop, tea room, and toilets can be accessed without entering the garden or castle.
There is also things to see in the surroundings - a walk to the Dun Na Cuaiche Watchtower, the Sweetie Seat, the Ice House, and several bridges.
