点评：I just got back from an eco-camping trip on Vancouver Island with Grey Wolf Expeditions, and honestly, it was one of the most memorable getaways I’ve had in a long time.
The setup was the perfect mix of adventure and comfort, more “glamping” than roughing it. Our group had a private beach all to ourselves, which made it feel like we were tucked away in our own little slice of paradise.
As a solo traveler, I really appreciated how safe and taken care of I felt the entire time. The guides went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable, and it never felt awkward being there on my own.
The guides were the heart of the trip. They weren’t just knowledgeable about the area, they also cooked us these amazing, personally prepared meals that made it feel less like a tour and more like being hosted by friends who really love the outdoors.
And the wildlife, wow! We got to see seals, sea lions, dolphins, and even orca, all up close right off the camp's beach. Having those encounters in such a beautiful setting was surreal.
If you’re looking for a unique way to explore Vancouver Island, connect with nature, and still enjoy some creature comforts, I can’t recommend Grey Wolf Expeditions enough, especially if you’re traveling solo and want an experience that feels safe, welcoming, and unforgettable.
