点评:It was just me, off season, and Justin accommodated me completely. Communication is best by telephone: some texting, better speaking. We rode for 6 hours from Canyon del Muerto to the mouth of the park. If you go for less time, you won't see the whole canyon. My guide, Raymond, was a guide at age 14, then had another job and has come back to guiding in his 60s. His grandparents cultivated corn in the canyon. The canyon has so many Anasazi ruins, you really get the feel of how it must have been when filled with a whole civilization. Amazing. Seeing it on horseback is a must: the horses are docile, will run if you want to have fun. The walking pace is perfect. And the peace and quiet is priceless: why go with the noxious fumes and rumble of an engine? The canyon was completely empty: going in tourist season may be a different experience, but I recommend it highly nonetheless.
