Enjoyed the museum - Charles Schultz Franklin exhibit until Nov 1, 2026

点评:We were walking by and decided to stop by. My husband and I really enjoyed it. There was a baseball exhibit with a Babe Ruth signed baseball that my husband enjoyed seeing. The exhibits were well done. I really liked that the museum did not gloss over what happened to the Native Americans who used to live in the area and the time during desegregation with eye witness accounts from people which was very impactful. It was also interesting to learn more about life in the South.
We both loved the Charles Schultz Franklin exhibit which is June 13 - November 1, 2026 and seeing the letters from a fan Harriet Glickman suggesting the introduction of a "Negro" character and its possible impact to society and the first comic strips with Franklin featured. I always thought Franklin was rather boring, but in reading over the exhibit, I realized it was because Franklin was really the only more "normal" child versus the rest of the gang with their personality quirks. I realized that what makes us different can also make us more interesting.
The staff at the museum was very nice and welcoming.

博物馆的工作人员非常友善,热情好客。
