点评：The George HW Bush library and museum are located on the campus of Texas A&M. He attended Yale and chose the location because of the “spirit on the campus”. He believed that public service was a noble calling.
Retractable bollards control entry in the museum’s circular drive adorned with US flags. While security personnel and metal detector greet you in the entrance, museum docents await in the large lobby filled with Presidential portraits, gift shop, tables, and restrooms.
Wear comfortable shoes during your stay. Next door, to the library, is the Bush School of Government and Public Service.
The Union Pacific Engine 4141, retired Marine One helicopter, limousine, personal car, and Avenger, he flew as a Navy pilot are part of the permanent exhibit. All are petitioned off so you can’t look inside.
Daisy’s Table cafe is located inside the Marine One/Locomotive 4141 Pavilion.
Theater seating surrounds you as a short feature film of his life plays. 10/10 There’s an immense amount of archival holdings and personal family mementos during. It has a great flow, super cold a/c 10/10, a beautiful lake leads to the long walkway to the Bush final resting place with their young daughter, Robin, who died of advanced leukemia at 3.
