点评:This campus is situated in a beautiful place. Surrounded by the Berkshires Mountains makes for a great background to a beautiful campus. A campus filled with History and Beautiful architecture. What makes it unique is the old and new buildings. Building that date back to the 1800s. I enjoyed seeing the theatre and library. The Thompson Memorial Chapel was also a pretty site. There is a nice courtyard next to the Theatre. This is called the Freshman quad. A stroll through is worth it. The history behind this college is very interesting. Ephraim Williams owned a lot of property. He died in the American Indian War. He left in his will that he wanted a free school in his Name and in Massachusetts. He also had the surrounding town named after him. This place is an American treasure. A place where an American wanted a better America. And now stands a college that has famous alumni, historic artifacts (the 1783 Treaty, an original printed copy of the Declaration of Independence, and others), and played the first intercollegiate baseball game. Can't get more American than that. Enjoy your stroll on campus. It has so much to see and learn.
