Chocolate making class with Cara and our grandchildren

点评：Chocolate making session for 4 of us at Caragh Chocolates.
We took our three grandchildren and Cami 8 was an ideal age, Ro 5 was a little young but seemed to get to grips with the skills of making chocolates. Elliana just over 1 sat on the side and watched us all.
We walked over from our accommodation on Sark and was early so bought a coffee and drinks before the time. We sat in the garden which had plenty of spaces. I also took up the offer of free banana bread which also Elliana eat some. It was only a short wait to our time and we moved into the workshop. The chocolate machine was working away and up to temperture and we started.
Cara was very patient and helpful with us all. We all managed to make chocolates and there was a large choice in toppings. We made three different types. Cara also took the time to explain the process and use of the materials in how the chocolate was made. At the end it was bagged up and we took it away, although some of it was eaten straight away.
Cami really enjoyed the day and learnt some new skills in the art of chocolate making.
I would recommend either popping in for a drink, cake or chocolate or take up the chocolate making. If you have kids old enough it will keep them busy or adults that have a flair for art making with food. Cara is a great host.
Plenty of space on site for your cycle or for you to seat. Cara let the kids use their kids trampolene in the back garden. She also told us about the park on the way back which had a zip wire. Which we vistied and the kids loved. There was also a jumble sale on. Along the roads if ever lost you could always ask some one the way. Very friendly in Sark.
