Very nice course in great shape but pace of play precludes me from ever returning

点评：Loved the course! Excellent conditions. Some of the "truest" greens I've seen in a long time. Visually appealing. Reasonable price for the quality of golf.
HOWEVER...the pace of play was excruciating. There was a FIVESOME ahead of us who just did not care they were holding up the entire course and that we were standing in the fairway 2 to 5 minutes EVERY hole waiting for them to finish. You'd think there was $5000 on every putt, as long as they stood over and lined up their putts. C'mon: get a clue!
There was a marshal who either ignored the issue, or was friends with the group. The group seemed to be members or regulars as they were chummy with the starter and other staff.
As much as I liked the course, I won't be going back. 4 1/2 hours for a mid-week round of golf is just too long. And golf is hard enough without any chance to maintain any rhythm.
