点评：There is a nice bike trail that runs about 20 km of the way between Tofino and Ucluelet. The trail winds up and down hills under the green trees along the highway. It's an alternative way to experience the beautiful national park.
In our naivety, we thought we would reach both towns on our ride, but the reality is that we didn't make it to either. If you want to bike the entire Tofino-Ucluelet round trip, be prepared to pedal a full 80 km—that requires either strong legs or an e-bike.
We rented bikes from Tofino Bike Co (excellent bikes), which is the closest rental place to this particular bike path—about 4-5 km from Tofino town and roughly 7 km to the start of the trail. When the trail ends on the other side, there's still over 10 km to Ucluelet town.
Remember to bring plenty of water and snacks. And set your expectations accordingly: if you're looking to train on a pretty, green, and somewhat hilly bike path without major sights along the way, the trail is perfect. If you want to experience more memorable aspects of Canada's nature, you might want to find another place to spend your energy.
