Mid Pines Golf Club的点评
点评：Played golf at Mid Pines in Pinehurst today. The facility has seen better days. Check in and starter were very polite and on time. The condition of the course was generally good but far from the amount charged to play there (roughly $180 US). Pace of play was excruciatingly slow and finished the round at 4:40. There was NO monitoring of pace of play and NO marshalls were present on the course. I gave a very candid response when asked how it went. I said the pace was terrible and was told how busy they were for the holiday weekend. I get it’s busy but no marshals on the corse added to this. Was then told we were lucky we weren’t playing at Pinehurst #2 as it would have l been another 1:40. Reminded the employee that we weren’t playing #2, we were at Mid Pines. Overall, I would say this is a very overpriced money grab being kept alive by Mid Pines’ legacy and history. If in Pinehurst, skip this one. Even Southern Pines is much more fun. Play pine Needkes and Tobacco Road.
