点评:I would make occasional trips to paoli peaks over the last 30 years to snowboard. This is the first time I've had a bad experience here. We purchased our tickets online and obtained them in a reasonable time once arriving. The problem was 3 or more staff members didn't show up for work in the equipment rental shop. This resulted in 2 hours of wasted time being in a line that circled in and around the equipment rental shop. Wouldn't have been a problem if we had our own gear but we did not. The staff that was able to support the equipment rental area did an excellent job under pressure as the line was packed for hours without them getting any break or relief and they all maintained a great attitude throughout anyways. On one of the beginners hills the ski lift broke down and was out of order, resulting in having to ski down the run and walk back up or go over to the other side which was over-crowded. The hamburger and fries were very good quality. The ski shop has some decent equipment and OK prices. After all this we ended up having a pretty good time but as someone who has past history there I can tell you this place is un-efficient and not as well oiled of a machine as it once used to be. All the staff was nice and helpful but the take-away for me is that the corporate entity that owns it now cannot run it as good as when it was local.
