Lutsen Mountains Ski & Summer Resort的点评
点评：We drove 8 hrs to enjoy some of "the best of the Midwest" winter skiing. We arrived check-in went very well but from that point forward everything was downhill. Told the adult hot tub time is 10PM -11PM apparently the individual that operates said building decided at 10:30PM the "system was overloaded". There were 4 people using the hot tub at the time and one wasn't even being used? Overloaded? Sure it wasn't you wanted to get off work a little early and yeah screw the guest that paid $ to enjoy those amenities?
The next morning very excited to enjoy the ski in ski out but noticed no lifts running at the designated time? Come to find out they closed all the lifts except the bunny hill due to "high winds" 20-25 mph gusts rather mild in my opinion. Checked Spirit Mountain and they seemed to be running just fine? To sum it up drove 8 hrs, got a nice view of the runs that were all closed. Spent a significant amount of money for this flop of trip. Oh but they will give you a voucher that's great now just cough up $200+ to stay an extra night because according to a season pass holder "they do not know how to operate this place". Waste of time and money and would recommend just head Colorado or somewhere out West where they can operate in most winter conditions unlike Lutsen. I wished I'd done a better job of reading reviews and might have been a little more prepared for the worst experience I've had in many years at a ski resort. Honestly this is probably the worst and would recommend seeking other resorts.
