Acadia NP Experience, but Reserve Early to Get an E-Bike

点评：The carriage trails at Acadia are a highlight at the park and the only active way to really see them is on bike. We are not really big bikers but for the experience we signed up last minute and all the E-bikes were gone. The store and the town are close to the Witch Hole Pond trails which may not be the best of the system but were what we had time to see.
Biking the trails and back to Bar Harbor were not a problem. However, the peddle from Bar Harbor to the trails is uphill especially if you are only a casual biker. I am glad we did and the scenery even around Witch Hold Pond was beautiful; however, the activity was not my favorite in Acadia and seriously overrated.
With that said, Acadia Bike was a great place to rent from. We even found a parking space right in front of their shop. If I were going to do this again, I'd reserve earlier and get an E-bike. That would be the only way I'd bike in Acadia again.
