点评：I was in St Andrews for a week of golf and stumbled across a flyer in my hotel for Kingarock Golf Course. I couldn't believe there was a course in St Andrews specifically for hickories! I'm from the US and have been restoring Hickory golf clubs as a hobby for years. I'm often asked by friends if I've ever played hickory golf and the answer to this point has always been no. Not any longer. I spoke with Oliver over the phone explaining I was a one ball but would love to play. He gave me a tee time for the next day. On arriving Dave gave me the history of the course Set me up with a set of clubs, tees and balls Walked me out to the first tee explained the layout and I was on my way. Beautiful 9 hole course that is well maintained in the tradition of early golf. After the round Dave took the time to show me his restoration shop and gave me a few tips that I can use restoring clubs. In my opinion you can not come to St. Andrews without taking the time to play this wonderful course and have a try at playing golf the way it was originally meant to be played.
