Wonderful experience all round and loved the views from the top

点评：Got the 40 bus from the Main Street behind the port and it stops near the telepharique, then you walk back down the road to get your ticket etc. the ticket office have it all laid out and easy to navigate even if your French is bad - they are very helpful. We got a return ticket with zoo for about 18 euros each.
The journey is 10 minutes and the cabin can be quite a tight fit - watch also for the glass window in the floor. When it gets moving the cool air comes in and the drivers are friendly and keep it as ventilated as possible. Pets on leads are allowed and there are lifts for wheelchair users.
The views are spectacular but it is hard to take photos until you get to the top. Up there though it was breezy with a lot of shade from the pine trees. The smell was lovely and the walks through the forest were calming and filled with nature.
The queues to take the trip back can be quite long and their last service isn’t late so leave plenty of time. There is a little cafe at the top with some superb view points to take photos from.
