Great family, friendly campgrounds
Savoy Mountain State Forest的点评
点评：We stayed in Cabin #1 and really enjoyed this spot. Small, single room cabin with two sets of bunk beds. The view of the south pond was perfect. The only downside was that the main bathrooms and showers are quite a ways away (and up a hill) and there were just two portapotties to use for the cabins. But that also means it was very quiet where we were away from the general tent campsites.
This park is great for kids. We did some short hikes with our elementary aged kids. Also, the North pond was great for swimming! While we were there they also had some educational programming during the day and a campfire with Smokey the Bear at night (but we didn’t attend this because we were at a concert in North Adams).
We’ll definitely be coming back here.
