Two great museums for one ticket
卡内基自然历史博物馆的点评
点评：There is a little bit of everything here. Ticket is good for the natural history museum as well as the art museum. We only had enough time to do the natural history side spending around 3 hours there. They had an architecture room with casts of various ancient structures and statues, there are dinosaur bones, gems and minerals, 'stuffed' animals in habitat 'dioramas', various insect displays, and much more to explore. There are two cafe areas that we saw, ate at the fossil fuel cafe - was actually reasonable prices. A couple gift shops as well on site. Staff was friendly and helpful. In fact, we asked about a PA teacher/educator discount we heard about at the admissions desk. Apparently, you usually apply ahead of time but they made an exception at the desk and gave us the educator discount for this visit since we were visiting from out of town. Great customer service! There is convenient parking nearby also - a lot as well as parking deck next door, street meter parking, etc. Overall, had a very nice afternoon - definitely worth a visit when you are Pittsburgh.
