点评:We spent a very enjoyable, informative 1-1/2 hour visit on the bus tour. Andrew(?) was our guide and he was excellent. He knew a lot about the history of the preserve and about all the animals in it. You travel through the preserve on a bus, stopping at various locations throughout the preserve to view the wildlife. Bring your own binoculars (although we managed to get up close with most of the animals). Andrew had some, but they really weren’t very good. We managed to see wood bison, moose, mule deer, caribou, elk, muskox, mountain goats and thin horned sheep. The only animal hiding was the lynx. There is a very small gift shop and outdoor toilets (which weren’t bad). You could walk this 3-mile preserve, but you would miss out on the informative tour, which was 90 percent of the fun. Our day was a little cold, rainy, and windy, so I don’t think the walk would have been particularly enjoyable. I didn’t think the scenery was that great either.
