Why didn’t we go sooner?!

点评：Honestly we didn’t have high expectations, but we were served some very humble pie! We had a wonderful time!
Took our little girl for her first birthday. She loved it. There was a little bit of everything there. Lovely soft play area, rides, a few animals, play areas for children, the wooden play park looked amazing!
The park its self was tidy, clean and well kept. So many things to see dotted around. The staff were super friendly, helpful and polite. With the rides, one person was running two rides, we went on a Wednesday and it wasn’t overly busy so hardly any wait time and as it’s out of season it made sense so can’t complain.
Nice mix of a few animals, lots of enrichment for them was lovely to see. I did notice one negative review about the birds and their enclosures, yes it’s a little sad to see but they all looked healthy and to be honest we visited Barnham zoo recently and Pettitts was much better with more room for the animals. If you buy food for the animals don’t forget to offer some to the rabbits, they are so super friendly!
We didn’t eat onsite and to be honest we would of taken a picnic if we had. Loads of places to sit and eat, including in the soft play area which I thought was nice.
The only thing I would change is possibly the volume of the music/sound effects in the soft play area, were a tad loud, but that’s just me.
Over all really good experience. Price wise it’s similar to most attractions. Nice that you can return for half price in the same season. We will definitely be coming back!
Also nice touch if you are on a budget you don’t have to walk through the gift shop when leaving like a lot of places. So no guilt trip purchases for the kids, you can just avoid if you want to. We bought cuddly swan though very cute.
I think like most things you make the most of what there is and just have a little joy rather than looking for negatives like most seem to do now a days. This place is a kids paradise, it’s not really for adults so enjoy it through kiddies eyes.
