水上公园的点评
点评：Great 5 hours at Aqua Plus
Spent 5 hours here with DH and our 11 year old DD and had a brilliant day. We arrived right at opening and were first in, easily choosing our loungers with a parasol. No mad dash was needed but we still felt very smug. The food court is covered which was a welcome bonus.
The park has grass and soil which felt unusual to us Brits who expect endless concrete, but it was actually nicer. We wore our water park socks from another trip. They have grippy soles, make you look slightly ridiculous, and keep your feet safe from the ground. Unfortunately they did nothing to stop the floors which are incredibly slippy. At times it felt like the park doubles as a skating rink.
A lovely touch is that some of the slides are up a grassy slope instead of endless stairs. One slide was closed during our visit and the giant slides, while impressive to look at, are surprisingly slow. They would be much better with rings to give them a bit of speed. Our favourites were the white slide and the racers which gave us plenty of fun and a bit of family competition. Yes, I celebrated beating an 11 year old.
Do not wear white swimwear. The water is treated with chlorine and copper to prevent algae and the copper stains swimsuits. Consider it a free but unwanted dye job.
Overall we had a fantastic time with plenty of fun, laughter and only a few comedy slips.
