Rushing River Provincial Park的点评
点评：Disappointed with general signage. Trying to find our site was very annoying. Ended up on a very narrow hilly road instead of on the right road. Had asked for directions on a map as it was our first time here. Staff seemed annoyed I asked for a map and hastily grabbed a map and highlighted where we were and where to turn but the map actually is poorly done and we missed our turn. The washroom is right across the road which is what we were looking for because we don’t have a washroom in our converted cargo trailer. Unfortunately everyone drives here so it was a steady stream of traffic for the bathroom but also parking for the beach and the main road to one of the boat launches. There was a boil advisory on. We did not check the advisory notices before heading here so that’s on is but it would have been nice if it was mentioned in the office when registering instead of finding out when we hiked to get water. Not many taps here. Drove into kenora for drinking water and boiled a lot of water for dishes. They cleaned the bathrooms and showers at 9 am in the morning when many people were wanting to use the rest rooms. On our 2nd last day a staff member pulled up to tge washroom and asked everyone to leave the restroom and showers. They were locked and signs put up that they were closed. They were closed for many hours. People coming and going. They have very few vault toilets to use instead. Perhaps they could have sent one of tgeir many staff around to let campers know what was happening. Loved the lake for kayaking, loved our hike up Rushing River. Overall did not like the constant traffic in the site we were in. If you don’t like it busy not a park for you. Also the condition of the roads in the park are horrible so use caution when driving here.
