Humboldt Bay Harbor Cruise - Madaket的点评
点评：The Madaket is a historical vessel actually built in the harbor it now gives tours of. We enjoyed a beautiful day on the water of Humboldt Bay with the narrated tour of the vast history of this area. The tour covers the various parts of the Bay and discuss the history from indigenous peoples to modern time including the once great logging industry and fishing industry. Both industries are still in existence, but at only a fraction of their historical levels from the last century.
The Madaket features the "smallest bar" in the country and the assistant working it does a great job of serving customers on deck with a full array of beverage options. I had a Bloody Mary which was spicey and excellent as I like it. They also offer the Original Bloody Mary which is made with beer.
We completely enjoyed ourselves on this tour which is reasonably priced and operated through the local Maritime Museum.
Highly recommended--don't miss the opportunity.
