A new diving favorite much closer to home
Atlantis Diving Center的点评
点评：Over the course of a long week, my buddy and I made 12 dives with Atlantis and we were so pleased!
After diving mostly in areas with lots of underwater wildlife (Caribbean, Asia) we needed to adjust a little bit to the way of diving in Malta/Gozo, as it's quite different. It is less about fish/critters and way more about enjoying the beautiful underwater scenery. It's also lots of shore diving with entries that sometimes do require actual strength and mobility.
Thankfully the Atlantis team made the adjustment very easy for us! Their passion for the incredible variety of underwater landscapes and topography is totally contagious, and the many stunning dive sites speak for themselves. We still saw fabulous wildlife as well, from tiny nudibranches and seahorses to XL eagle rays!
We dove with 3 different guides, all of whom were lovely in their own ways. Diving groups were max 5 divers with a guide. They provide good pre-dive & safety briefings, but it's good to know that Atlantis doesn't "micromanage" divers: they assume that as a certified diver you take care of bringing the materials you need to the guided dives, you will build up your own kit, and you'll clean your gear after your diving day is done. Me and my buddy have never done anything else, but not every diver we went with was used to this. But when you need any kind of support, they are ready to help you right away and they will go out of their way to help you solve any problems.
We will definitely come back to Gozo and Atlantis, as our experience was really positive. We're super happy to have found a place closer to home where the diving can be so different and yet so great!

我们和三位不同的导游一起潜水，他们每个人都以各自的方式展现了可爱的一面。潜水小组最多5名潜水员和1名导游。他们提供完善的潜前和安全须知，但值得庆幸的是，亚特兰蒂斯不会对潜水员进行“微观管理”：他们假设作为一名持证潜水员，你应该负责携带潜水所需的物品，自行准备装备，并在潜水结束后清洁装备。我和我的伙伴从未做过其他事情，但并非每个和我们一起去的潜水员都习惯了这种做法。但当你需要任何支持时，他们随时准备提供帮助，并会竭尽全力帮你解决任何问题。
我们一定会再次回到戈佐岛和亚特兰蒂斯，因为我们的体验非常愉快。我们非常高兴能找到一个离家更近的地方，在这里潜水可以体验到如此与众不同却又如此精彩！
