Musee Bonnard的点评
点评：This was a real find and highly recommended,
We’ve been to a Bonnard exhibition in London and read about this museum in one of the art magazines.
Parking and navigating in Le Cannet is a challenge so use a proper navigation app and know how to use on street parking.
The staff in the museum are very friendly and the lovely man near the door showed us the loos, stairs and bag lockers.
Quite sensibly, they prefer all bags to be put in a locker.
My husband was delighted we could get an age-related discount (and I’m not talking student age!)
There was a large exhibition from a private collection of some stunning works: Morristown, Degas etc) and some Bonnards.
The galleries are set over 3-4 floors which are light and spacious.
All the staff stood when someone entered their gallery, which was a sign they are well trained. There was a comfortable ni ber of visitors and a pleasant buzz of enthusiastic chatter.
It was a delight to have such a spacious, thoughtful opportunity to see great works of art without the crowds.
