点评:This was our second visit, we visited with our friends and our 3 young children on a 'Steam Day', we were greeted by a choir, we saw all the different steam engines running along with the water wheel, the factory itself was super interesting and there was a lady working on one of the machines inside. It's like a working museum! The people running the machines also wore traditional uniforms. They have a little basket and rail of traditional dress up for both kids and adults and the third floor was a mini craft fair. We asked lots of questions and all the staff and volunteers were so so friendly and passionate about what they do at the Mill. We went to the café outside by the river, they serve a very basic menu but it was a lovely place to sit and have a bite to eat, we saw a frog and lots of wildlife too, you could easily bring a picnic. It's mostly run by volunteers which all do an amazing job. Lovely place to visit and will be back soon!!
